The first "Shuimu Cup" Youth Business Simulation Challenge of Tsinghua Affiliated High School was held

On October 15, 2017, the first "Shuimu Cup" Youth Business Simulation Challenge of Tsinghua High School was held in the multi-function Hall and conference room B102。The competition was jointly organized by JA Economic Association, Political Teaching and Research Group and Youth League Committee of Tsinghua High School Affiliated to Tsinghua University, with the support of Shanghai Brilliant Achievement and Citibank. A total of 98 students participated in the competition, including 35 students from Jiangtai Road Campus and Aosen Campus。

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Bai Xuefeng, Vice President of the High School Attached to Tsinghua University, and Mr. Deng Zipeng, head of the financial practice project of Citibank and alumnus of the High School Attached to Tsinghua University, delivered speeches respectively to encourage the participating students and wish the competition a successful completion。Bai Xuefeng introduced the exploration and achievements of Tsinghua High School in the field of business education.Deng Zipeng shared his feelings on the development of Affiliated High School with the students。

In this business competition, the students were divided into 23 groups, each team to establish their own companies, according to the designated industry scope, research and development and sales of their own products, to maximize the simulation of real company business。At the beginning of the activity, Mr. Li Jiaxuan, director of the channel of Achievement, introduced the situation of the business competition, and Mr. Chen Bicong, academic director of Achievement, explained the connotation and rules of the business competition。

In the morning of the trial operation fiscal year, the players initially experienced the retail, exhibition and marketing, expert review and other aspects of the business competition。In the expert review process, the expert team led by Gao Meng, investment manager of Citibank reviewed the products designed by each company and put forward relevant improvement suggestions。

In the afternoon, the first and second year of the formal competition, the company design products, with other companies to do import and export and retail trade, while the expert review and exhibition conference。At the end of the first fiscal year, the government conducted bidding activities for high, middle and low products in category A and B, and announced the ten best products according to their scores。

After two fiscal years of fierce competition, according to the expert rating and the business performance of each company in the competition system, the final selection of the first, second and third three companies, and according to the performance of the students, the best CEO, the best sales Director and other individual awards。At the closing ceremony, Mr. Xiang Li, head of the Political Teaching and Research Group of Tsinghua High School, and Mr. Deng Zipeng, head of the financial practice project of Citibank, presented awards to the winners of the third place company and individual awards of Guan Ya respectively。
